In the past week, I’ve been cruelly April fooled by being led to believe there was actually a Jay-Z and Beyonce sex tape available for viewing on the internet, lied to about new D’Angelo music, and ridiculed mercilessly for foolishly believing Duke would have won the NCAA championship this year. Despite all that, last week wasn’t that bad.
I wanted to post some new music I stumbled across, but I’ll have to do that tomorrow. I’m exhausted.
I also found the time to watch the film “Basquiat” repeatedly. It was a really poignant biopic of the life of the american painter, Jean-Michel Basquiat, and it really spoke to me for some reason. I’ll discuss it more in depth tomorrow. Time for me to hit the hay.
